Machine Vision Specialist

i4 Solutions develops, sells and supports machine vision systems that inspect products during manufacture. Our customers, primarily Fortune 500 manufacturers regulated by the FDA, rely on our systems to increase their productivity and improve their products’ quality.

We have a great opportunity for a Machine Vision Specialist. This is a full-time, direct-hire position. Responsibilities include:

• Technical evaluation of new project opportunities
• Prototyping and testing solutions in our lab
• System startup and user training at customer sites
• Support customers in selection and troubleshooting of components
• Managing our online store’s catalog

To be considered for this position you’ll need:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Stable work history
• Knowledge of machine vision basics including lenses, lighting, and image processing
• Knowledge of basic electronics and industrial controls
• Time management and problem solving skills
• Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows
• Familiarity with industrial environments and related safety precautions
• A four year degree, or two year degree plus four years related work experience

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Experience integrating machine vision systems
• Advanced knowledge of machine vision technologies
• Software development experience using a .net language or C++
• BSEE or BSME
• AIA Certified Vision Professional certification
• CAD experience
